Not much motivation for me lately (still) but Jenna getting some good results. THinking about coaching another player.. maybe this will boost motivation???

A slow month.

A slow month but am finally healtby again. Way behind in my work schedule (but TONS done there too), with a few more reno's on the go (including my own place FINALLY!!!). Wife's stepdad had serious heart attack last week & is still in I.C.U. Time home alone but still no time to grind away at the pokerzz (seems like I will never get the time? ... maybe that's a good thing? maybe I'm not even cut out for it? LOL... meh, it was nice to dream!). A shitty week in MTT's last week. Played in a few iPOPS tourneys, some bigger satties to the HighBuyin iPOPS and wiffed them all (one particularly shitty one was, 71 players left, 50 get $215 ticket, MP raises... I ship it in SB with AA.... get called by JJ.. flop Q-J-4 fcuk me!). Another one, had a great stack and then was busto in less than 5mins., losing TT < A5o, JJ < 66 (both aipf) then finally with KK I open-shove 13bb from utg.. got two others in, QQ, & JJ. Flop Q-Q-4, then 'K' turn ha ha ha. THAT SUCKED! Wiffed the Pokerfest & MiniFTOPS games too. Played well although there were actually a couple of hands I saved for review from the MiniFTOPS where perhaps I could've/should've played them differently (idk though... prob played them just fine... ie. OESD & FD.. wiffing, and another simliar to that.. pr & OESD). Been considering doing something different with online poker after having such a shitty past couple weeks. (in the last week, only a few min. cashes in MTT's and only other scores were from goofy freerolls (ie. last four priv. tourney cashes were all CC Freerolls, lol CC Lock 2nd place for $100, CC BCP 2nd for $16.50, 7th CC Bodog, 6th CC Carbon ($130 total). A few cashes earlier in the month, total of 1x 1st, 4x 2nd & 1x 3rd for $542.75 on the month. Not going to hit any $10k this year! (maybe $5k). So.... I've decided to hit up the 27man reg. speed SNG's. I might actually set myself up a challenge thread for it on CC (ie. something like $200 to $2k in 2months). If I could get in 4 days of playing recreationally for 5hrs. each day (20hrs./wk.) I know I could do it. Maybe I should just do it? I'm not actually sure if I can even committ anywhere near that amount of time though as I'm way too busy with 'life' (trip coming up to Alberta in May, father-in-law real sick and might be moving them here... that'll be a big job for sure!.. but I hope they take us up on the offer.). I can't start it on May1st (but I suppose it doesn't have to start at the beginning of the month either). Thing is, I'm playing a handful of them now but I guess I can just withdrawal my roll back down to $200 (& if I want to play a run of MTT's I can just deposit for the amount of buyins & WD any profit right after). Hmm.. also wouldn't mind waiting til' I'm running on new computer too (also been delayed due to expenses of all these trips). My current setup just can't handle it & know if I start running PT4 at same time it's going to be a big clusterfuck for sure. Meh... I can do it without it for now & still hit the $2k in 2mos. Yuup... I think it's going to be $200 to $2k in 2mos. (starting in 2 weeks, lol).

STILL SICK!!! (& running worse, lol)

Been sick with pnuemonia for over a month now. Just can't shake it. No motivation to play much poker but still playin' a few private games... but not feelin' it at all. On top of it >> running like total shit LOL. Cashed in only one today... only 3rd cash this month! Got HU with big chiplead on Carbon, then with chips allin buddy hits 2-outer on the river for the win! LOL. Better than nothing.

Binked another Bodog $100k ticket in CC game!

Played a bunch of tourneys this morning.... ran like shit! TONS of fish on the tables! Went out 20off bubble in a couple, ie. PartyPoker $6rebuy, iPoker $10-$5000GP. Gave up! Ran fever again! Asleep on couch. 30mins. after Cardschat Bodog game started I decided to sit in.. thinking I'd just shove it in with junk & go back to sleep. Ended up taking it down! (total goof on table (in chat) helped to motivate me to go on for the win, LOL). Ticket will be nice! Going to use it up this Sunday!

Easter Sunday - Freeroll cash breaks even on day

Easter Sunday only reg'd. for a few games in the morning. Lost a half-dozen crucial flips, donking out of Titan $5000GP just before bubble, losing a 40bb pot in Storm, etc. Ended up bein' stuck in a goofy freeroll on Everest as it was my last table running. Final tabled out of ~1800 entrants for $50, lol. Monday is a day off/holiday so if I'm feeling a bit better I might put in some time on the tables in the morning, including some 180's.

Been sick with pnuemonia for the past two weeks & as usual am swamped with work! Hotwater tank blew up, then the furnace broke down & we're still without heat for 2wks. now :( Have played very little (a few reg. tourneys, some priv. games & freerolls but mostly sleeping). Managed to win $96 from those WBCOOP freerolls so not a total loss there & will do it again next year. Played a few games this morning as I'm finally feeling a bit better but still resting from work. Took 7th in CC $1k Titan freeroll - - a huge donkfest as always. If top spots didn't pay so well I'd never play this one again, lol. 7th for $42.50

Finally got tickets for WCOOP

Finally got tickets for WBCOOP but not til' halfway through the series. Pretty slim chances on the leaderboard considering most of the games I can play will be this weekend when field sizes will likely be double that of the weekday games. Had a good showing in one of them today,... wasn't even going to play in it. NL Omaha H/L Turbo, 3rd place for a $55 ticket. Funny part was, when we were down to final 10 I satout for 15mins., then would occassionally ship it allin pre because my niece dropped by for a visit so I wasn't even watching the table. Hoping I can do well in a few more of them. So far, played in 4 of them, cashed in 3, 3rd, 7th, & 78th. No great cashes to speak of this past week but haven't been playing at all either (not even the CC games). Played CC Carbon buyin today, got 5th for a min. cash. Kinda sucked because with 5 left, monkey limps BvB into my 8bb stack (everyone pretty short) I shove with QQ and he snapcalls with A6o??? WTF?? Why wouldn't he just ship it in pre instead of L/C I will never know, lol.. unless he actually figured he was inducing a shove? (doubt he even thought that much though). Also, picked up $210 in a final table finish in the LATM $3,000 Depositor Freeroll on Titan. Not too bad for just making a monthly deposit. Think I need to do that every month from now on. Here's hoping we have a great Saturday on the tables... I'll be home alone for most of the day. Sunday is going to be pretty much a wash because we have Jenna's surprise dinner to go to (sigh.. I'd forgotten about it & was just reminded a moment ago).
