So close in the Pokerstars WorldCup Team Canada qualifier

Didn't even know the Pokerstars WorldCup Team Canada qualifiers for trip to Bahamas at PCA were even running today. Got into them at last minute. Went deep in the $1 tourney, ending up going out in 5th ($31). Soooo close to a free trip to Bahamas! Didn't play much at all today (really worn out still).. but also managed a 2nd place finish in Cardschat Pokerstars buyin for $37.50 & the roll continues to creep along > $4,868 now. $5k just around the corner! (winnning Trip to Bahamas would've been a nice edition, LoL).

2nd Cardschat Bodog tourney

This week I played almost nothing on Sunday. Was just soooo tired I chose to unreg. from everything but then realized I had to play the Bodog$100k because my ticket was going to expire. (lost JJ < AA, ~290th/700). Play in that tourney was ridiculously soft (3-4 limpers each hand even at the 250/500 levels with eff stacks 10-25bb's). Probably crazy to not play it every week & should start playing the satellite for it on Saturdays (more overlay in it too, ~$2k). Couldn't skip the Cardschat game on Bodog tonight. Was the only game I played today, having a couple spare hours before babysitting the grandaughter. HeadsUp even stacks (pulled a nice suckout once we were ITM, EP minRaise.. I shove 12bb's w 99 & one of the blinds wakes up with KK... I turn a '9' for the win! HeadsUp, SB raises POT (21 eff. bb's).. I RRAI w QQ, got called by A9o.. they hit running cards for a straight on river :( (3-outer). 2nd of 16 entrants > $43.20 Total for 2012: $4,525.36 (will be lucky to hit $7,500 by Christmas)

Haven't been playing all week. Got alot of work done this week (painting mostly) had plans to take a bit of time off from working to play a handful of tournaments but then just had wayyyyy too much on my mind to even consider it (some really tough times these days... worrying myself to death but ritely so :( ) Had some fun in a game on Wednesday > Love & Hate poker forum on WilliamHill ($2 buyin with $100added). I've played in 5 of these now > 2x 2nd, 1x 1st. This one happened to be 1st!

Another Sunday, might as well be last week, lol

Just read over part of last week's blog post & this Sunday is pretty much a repeat. Got up real early here today - - ready to go by 7:30am. Considered playing a schedule of tourneys I'm usually asleep for but then once again felt like crap (physically) & just not motivated at all. Kept myself reg'd. for a few private games, & ended up getting a 3rd & 4th in the CC games. With the time it took, I should've probably played some other stuff at the same time (was on the puter anyways). Just not feelin' the motivation at all these days. I go outside with the dog, take a walk.. 'beautiful day'... looking at the computer screen looks like punishment. Could care less if I stack someone off in a tourney or make a great read, etc. Maybe the spark will come back sometime soon. Been thinkin' about doin' a massive grind but doubt that's the answer, LoL. Maybe just not play at all? or play some mixed games for awhile??
