Another CC Titan $1Kfreeroll.. another cash (3rd for $135)

Another Cardschat $1,000 freeroll on Titan & another cash. This time a 3rd for $135.00
We just pop the bubble I shove with AJs & win the hand but before the chips slide my way I lose my connection on Titan (again!! this has been happening far too often on that site & quite often at crucial times). So I'm offline for ~5mins., knowing I won that pot & moved up a pay spot but no idea what has happened since or if I'm even still in the game (one other MTT on Titan running still then too.. a $10mtt)
I get back on ~5mins. later (actually exactly 5mins. as I took a screenshot when I lost my connection) & we're on break!! And now there's only 6 of us left (so I missed another player getting KO'd & doesn't look like I lost any chips at all). Still sitting in 6th of 6 left.
Things went nicely for awhile but then with 3 left, 'Mr.Limper' (one of the players not from CC who was limping with AK AQ AA KK on final table... along with another guy who screwed himself while on a big stack when he limped AA.. he ended up bein' bubble boy.."WTG").. I have Q2o in BB & check it.
Flop comes K-Q-Q (2-tone). I decide to check with intentions of getting it in on the turn. I check.. he bets.... I just 'call'. I don't want to lose this guy & even though this board might've given him a decent draw I decide to just 'call' but not folding turn (I want max value here as we're all pretty short.. I don't want to lose this guy). Turn is a 10... & he overshoves ALLIN?? I snapcall, not bothering to consider what he could possibly have here. Of course he shows J9o, (he'd bet a gutterball on the flop KQQ).. it holds & I'm out in 3rd. Not bad considering I'd pulled off a great suckout while we were on the bubble & I was sitting in 9th of 9left.
What a bubble this one was today. Seemed to go on forever!! blinds got huge & there were 3 players with <3bb's lol.
Rest of the day on Titan was pretty bad, going deep in two mtts & then busting out just before the bubble (36th in one that paid top 30.. and 107th in another that paid top100). The $135 from the freeroll helped for sure.
That makes a 2nd, 5th, & a 3rd so far this year in the Titan CC Freeroll for a total of $460.00 (& in December's tourney I was bubbleboy). Some nice consistent cashes in that tourney, playin' it uber cautiously in early levels as there's just way too much value in it to bust out early.

Priv. Tourney Cashes exceeds $1,000 by end of Feb.

Keeping track of the priv. tourney cashes so far this year & although I'd say I've been running pretty poorly the total by the end of Feb. is over $1,000.00 Definitely the way to go for newer players wanting to try to grind a small bankroll online. Unfortunately there've been numerous spots where I've been getting it in wayyy ahead in later stages which has resulted in alot of smaller cashes & missing out on the bigger ones. I'll hit it one of these days.... hopefully on Fulltilt where my account is in rough shape. Need to get onto settting up a Moneybookers account so I can begin moving some $'s around (off of Titan, Carbon & 888Poker & over to Stars & FTP).

Still grinding out a small roll on 888Poker & will probably play a bunch of their MTT's prior to transferring from there (hopefully hit a decent score). Micro cash tables on that site are sooooooo weak that I don't think it's even possible to go broke on there (could grind the 2nl tables for a couple hrs. & put together a buyin for a $20mtt). MTT's have fairly weak/passive play in them too.. mixed in with a bunch of regulars but seems like there are just wayyyyy more weak/pass. types on that site compared to FTP & Stars (on FTP in the micro/low buyin MTT you get a TON of over-aggro-spew fish, betting "POT" as their standard postflop bet.. donkbetting "POT" etc... kind of annoying even playing in them.... TONS of thoughtless button mashing... really wish I could be grinding in games where a few more of the players were thinkin' above level1 bs stuff.... 'in time'... maybe, lol).

Just for the hell of it, played a 5cd.Dr. Freeroll on Stars

Just for the hell of it the other day (last week) I was checking out the PokerStars lobby & found a 5cd.drw. 'freeroll' that had just started. I joined it thinking, "ah what the hell..play a few hands of 5cd.drw for fun while I'm doing some other stuff on the puter".
over 6hrs. later I bink the win for the ticket to Rd.2 lol.
5,788 entrants, Top48 paid. Weeeeee!!! It was actually kinda fun.

Played Great today, regardless of results.....

Not wanting to make this a badbeat Blog so will be posting a few good hands on here from now on (instead of just 'busto' hands where I'm getting it in good most of the time.... although I'll post a few of those too, to remind myself I'm playing well).

Just played 3 priv. tourneys this morning > PokerTube $1 r/2a on UB, Cardschat $10 Carbon, & 888Poker "Meet New Members' $250 freeroll (monthly tourney).

Was playing good in all of them, doing a few things differently today (ie. flatting with KK to an EP raise once blinds were getting up there, closing in on bubble, trying to extact more value for the monsters vs. aggro players who I figure will be c-betting near 100% on most flops). Ended up going out of Carbon CC game after raising AQs.. and having another bigstack 3bai on me from BB w A9o.. I call.. & lose.. sigh

UB I shove 18bb in CO w JJ.. BTN iso shoves "27bb".. and then SB actually calls that w AQs
888Poker priv. Freeroll. Some good players in early & mid. levels but mostly fish on the final table (LOTS of highblind limping.. ie. limping w JJ.. 99, etc.).

Ended up going out of both the PokerTube & Cardschat games... but hung in on the 888Poker Freeroll, then with 3 left I shove otb w A9.. SB snapcalls w A8o.. & I lose that one too, lol.
