1st in CC Pokerstars buyin

Once again I had a full schedule for Sunday MTT's & as usual I'm just wayyyy too tired (not enough sleep & feelin' like crap!). I had pre-reg'd for a bunch, including Bodog $100K, but un-reg'd from most of them, playin' pretty much only the priv. donkaments (hard to pass up on these no matter how I'm feeling, lolz). Managed to take 1st in the return of Cardschat's PokerStars buyin tourney!! (had a good run on them just before they were discontinued back in May 2011). Only $50added in this one so it was only $62 for 1st but I'll take it. We're over $4,300 on the year now & just over $500 for July. Nearing final table of the FTR on Bwin, sitting with decent stack vs. others.. 3rd of 13 left. Couple limpers (as usual... these fish are limping with blinds at 400/800.. on 10-15bb stacks.. like every hand!). So I shove from BB w 88.. AK calls & drops me back to near last place on a SS, lol.. sigh. (same guy goes out in 10th ?) Thought it was you 'Matt' but only from player's name. Ended up being bubble boy > other SS chops a pot, I'm left with 4bb's as blinds go up again, I shove from SB v BB.. BB with <10bb's snapcalls me w J8o & wins.. sigh. Would've been nice to take that one down. (was over $150 for first.. & would give me some $'s on that site as the MTT fields are uber soft)

Micro Millions MainEvent - 6,021st of 65,063

Was pre-reg'd. for a bunch of MTT's this morning & with it being last weekend before Jenna & Maddie arrive home I figured I'd be making the best of it (in other words > playing LOTS of tourneys 'in peace'). Felt physically sick from the get go & really just wanted to laydown in my chair & go to sleep. Unreg'd from a bunch but then figured I had to play the PokerStars MicroMillions MainEvent (& that ridic $3 turbo ... because of my 'free ticket', lol). Well around 5hrs. into it before we get into the money, for over an hour I've got guys on my table who are timing down a full 100secs. each turn so they can 'min-cash'. What a huge f'n drag! Once we were in the money, what had been a decent structure seemed to go thru the roof (blinds escalated in a big way). Got it in a few times to stay alive, then finally shipped AJs from UTG.. eMP player rrai to iso. Flipping... cool! Lookin' good.... sigh, lol. Min.-cashed for $52.05 Couple small cashes in some other priv. games & just missed the Top18 on pokercast game for the 'bonus $50' (it was 4-max today... more chances to play hands vs. idiots, lol). Ended up profitting on the day. Saving my last Bodog$100K ticket til' next weekend (hopefully I'll be well-rested & feeling better.... it's been a hell of a week.. .make that 2weeks!).

Played 3 games tonight - took a 1st & a 2nd

Was going to play 5 games (just the priv. ones) but then was just way too tired so I only played the first 3. Still haven't played any of the MicroMillions... probably not missing much. Got a 2nd in Love & Hate Poker forum's WilliamHill game (again) for $35 & then a 1st in Pokerspace game on Intertops (was down to my last few bucks on Intertops too). Real soft fields in both.

And another 3rd. This time in HoldemPokerChat game on Cake! Still rarely playing anything much at all - - enter a game or two ~dinner time after work. If I could get my head clear (instead of worrying about my partner) this would be probably be a good time to put in a bit of volume between work days. Maybe not though... feels good getting a bunch of work & stuff taken care of.... & there's LOTS more to go still! Results so far in July:

Breaks the $4k milestone!!! 3rd CC-BCP

Took a 3rd in the Cardschat BlackChipPoker buyin today for $21.25 putting me over $4k on the year so far. Didn't feel like playing much today.... today was the worst week in my life! Sooooooo unfair & missing my partner like crazy!!! I pray she is okay today!

Looking forward to playing a bit more volume which is definitely a change from last month as I was beginning to wonder if I even wanted to play at all anymore... watching some of the WSOP Live Stream has also been motivating. Took a 2nd today in Love & Hate Poker forum's game on WilliamHill. Even in chips when it came to HeadsUp, ~20bb's. Then got donked HUGE... then had massive chiplead, but lost it aipf he calls off w T8o & flop 882, lol.. then I lost flip 66 v AKs, & finally 10bb ATs < K9o. Huge loss before this was when I raised with KK otb.. & he calls with J2s. & then CRAI huge with FD vs my KK.. & he hits, lol. I came back from that, then won big pot only to lose to a bunch of donkings. Was pretty sick as I figured I'd completely outplayed the guy (had him earlier raising me on turn cuz he hits his Ace with A7o vs. my QJs turn'd Nut straight.. & he calls my 4bai on turn drawing dead, lol). Oh well.. next time. Still managed a 2nd & picked up $35 to begin building the WilliamHill account again (planning on moving my iPoker network play over to WilliamHill instead of Titan & just playing the minimum on Titan to qualify for bonus games, regional games & the couple private games they still have running on there. Makes a ton more sense for me to play on WilliamHill because it's the only iPoker site that works with pokerprolabs TopShark. Still haven't hit $4k so far this year... but almost got there today. Had I not missed out on a few games today (due to work) I'm pretty sure I would've gotten there. Hmm.. maybe come August I'll be able to put three full days aside for poker each week (Wed., Fri., & Sunday).
