My blogging hadn't been too consistent on here recently & directly correlated to my enthusiasm for the game. Well today's micro MTT successes helped to re-instill a bit after taking a short layoff & then finding it difficult to get into it again.

Hope to make a go of it again now.

LOTS of MTTs lined up for Sunday Oct.31st. Here's hoping on a few deep runs & some much needed cashes!

Snoop wins a TurboTakedown satty!!

Snoop pulls of a win in the PocketFives Turbo Takedown satty today. For a measley 25vpp buyin, P5's added 450,000vpp to the prizepool, giving away 150 entries to the TurboTakedown. (I went out fairly early).
With 154 players left, snoop was sitting in 151st but with the BB upon her the very next hand... oh.. now the lobby says she's in 153rd.. sigh.. she has only 45 more chips than 1 sb... she shoves utg with AJo. One bigstack had been shoving in every hand and so there was hopes of them doing this again so snoop would be up vs. only one opponent. He opts to fold.. then SB with only 1.5bb's also folds so it's HeadsUP vs. the BB. BB with 94o.. flop comes Q-9-4... TERRIBLE!!!..Oh.. but wait, she can still win with runner runner JJ, A J, AA, or runner runner flush. Damn.. 'K' on the turn.. she's totally bummed thinking she's drawing dead. BUT WAIT.. she needs a 10 for the straight.. I'm thinking "Come on TEN!!!".. and then BOOM.. a 10 on the river for the win!!! YES!!!!! AWESOME HAND!!
Next hand SB shoves & she has to fold in BB. THen the next hand BB is sitting out so she gets to take it down in SB. She's guar. a win now if she just folds her way in.

Finally a cash in a CC buyin, this time a 2nd in Carbon

Well after taking my girlfriend to move to Pt.Alberni & thinking that when I got home I'd have to put in a bit of serious time grinding on the tables, things just haven't turned out that way. Firstly it's been busy as hell at work here, with a few more floods & just far more physical work than I want to be doing right now. Work way too hard then be completely burnt out & recovering the next.
Have only played a small handful of priv. tourneys & took some nasty beats in them. The motivation just hasn't been there.
Did play a couple of 27's ($5) & managed to chop 1st in one (which got me to check my stats. in those games on Fulltilt.. over the past 90days just 50 of those games but am running with ROI +88% which is completely sick. Now if I can just get some volume in!

Plan now for Fulltilt is to grind the $5-27's & 45's, throwing in some $10-45's & once I've profitted $1K from them, move to the $10-45's & do a Token run so I'll be rolled for a run of some MTT's on Fulltilt.
For Pokerstars, put in one day or so per week of grinding the lower buyin MTT's. If no decent scores in them, consider moving some Fulltilt $'s over to Stars so that I can be rolled for min. of $10 buyin MTT's & look into the 180plyr. SNG's (but NOT the $4 buyins... those are just toooo shitty of play & know I can't stomach it).
Titan - no real plans for there, aside from perhaps adding in a couple of MTT's from there while playing the Pokerstars mtt's. Perhaps look to move some of my money off of there for Christmas as it's just sitting there I don't need nearly that much on there right now.
CarbonPoker - get into some $11 buyin MTT's or lower buyin rebuys. Also look to withdrawl some $'s off of there too (again, money sitting there doing nothing.. would be better to have it on stars).

$5,070 score for my girlfriend in $109 mtt on Fulltilt!

My girlfriend takes down a nice score on Fulltilt for $5,070.00 in a $109 buyin MTT. She'd just had a few deep runs in MTT's, & actually built a $50 bankroll to over $6k in two days! Started off with a 3rd in a $5 mtt, then a 10th in a $75buyin & then WHAM, a 2nd in a $109 buyin MTT on Oct.21st. Very nice!!
