Dec.24 another small cash in the books FRA on Carbon

Just messin' around on puter this morning (Christmas Eve), had plans on playing a bunch of reg. MTT's today (seeing as it's a 'day off') but then actually got busy with some work & had helper show up to continue with more painting/reno work. Also had some running around to do in the morning, along with being up quite late last night surfing the interwebz checking out dogs (brought back a ton of memories). Got into the Cardschat $5 Carbon buyin but started out 10mins. after break & only had 6bb's to start with.... out in two hands :( Then had forgotten I was also reg'd. in the FreerollArmy $1r/a ($25added) on Carbon but remembered when the table opened up on my screen, lol. Ended up taking it down for $25.51 ... not too bad for a $2 investment. Was also kinda fun as I ran a few great bluffs for nice pots & had them committing while I was way ahead. Went into HU as a 2:1 dog but changed it around quickly, then 3bai 20bb w AJ > KTo, & then A8s>44 FTW!! Getting closer now to the $6K goal > $5,817.27 in priv. tourney cashes for 2011. Was thinking it won't be possible now but just took a look at calendar for games still to come over the next week & there's still 17 priv. games in total left, so cashing for another $200 is highly in the realm of possibilities (if not way more). Will be working this week as well but am hoping to squeeze in some of the better games on the list (ie. FTR $4buyin $400added on Titan!!, FTR $3 buyin $500added on PokerStars)& some of the LATM games on Titan too.

Dec.23 2011 - Another small cash - 3rd CC Intertops

Took down another small cash today in a private online tournament - - Cardschat $5buyin ($200added) on Intertops, 3rd/16 for $56.00 Getting ever closer to that milestone of $6,000 (priv. MTT cashes) for 2011. Going to have to pull off some major rungood if I hope to hit it... unless of course I win the CC Cake ipad2 league (which will put me comfortably over the top).

Dec.22 Couple small priv. tourney cashes

Played the monthly Cardschat $1K Freeroll on Titan today. Was in a rush with lots of stuff on my mind but still managed to pull out a 4th for $100.00. The other tourney was an iAspuestas $3 buyin with $200added. This was the second time I've played in one of these (first one was when I first downloaded PartyPoker, took 3rd). Out of 34 entrants I took 4th for $22.00. Crappy thing was, tourney was into the 4th hour & we were 4 left (& sitting with 22bb's, in good shape) & I had to RUSH down to the computer store to pick up dar's puter before the store closed for the day. I had her take over for me & she shipped in 3bai in BB w 72o? WTF!?!?!? vs. QQ.. out I went in 4th. What a waste of time that ended up being (lost around $70 on that move... sigh). Did seem kinda funny at the time but not that funny later on... I mean it's a site I have very little on, won from nothing but still, no sense in throwing money away & might've given me the oppurtunity to buy into something decent on that site. Oh well... next time I'll just sit out.

10th Ann. SunMillion on PokerStars

Won a private satellite ticket to the SunMillion 10th Anniversary on PokerStars, placing 3rd in the FTR satty, winning $103 & $215 ticket. Unfortunately I bombed out of the SunMil in ~39,000th place (out of 68,000 entrants). Was on a REALLY SOFT table too... lost a big pot when my TT flopped mid set on a 3flush monotone flop, lost to Q9s who'd flopped the flush.. sigh. Oh well, not too bad for a $5 investment.

Result from 1 of 2 Bodog$100K tickets

Finally got a chance to use up my other Bodog$100K ticket (Nov.6th). It was the final day before the ticket expired. I load up a bunch of Tournaments on my puter, planning on playing 25-30 for the day (quite alot for me). Right from the get go my puter connection goes whacko on me & I'm timing out, disconnecting like crazy!! .. & it's putting me on HUGE TILT! One tourney on Cake, I'm in top10 of 70 left (25pd.) but never was able to get back onto the site & ended up blinding out, lol. With the Bodog $100K it was looking even worse! I was pre-reg'd from a few days before & was unable to even login to the site & it was 25mins. into the tourney already. I wrote to support asking if I could get a refund for my ticket. They wrote back saying that they'd tried to contact me by phone but there was no answer (cellphone turned off.. sigh). Perhaps it was a good thing they couldn't get ahold of me because before I even read their email response the site was up on my screen & I was sitting at a table!! weeeeee Closing in on bubble.. just a few away from the money, I folded in a couple spots where I'd NEVER normally fold EVER!!! (sick folds.. really bad folds actually.. but with just a TON of SS's in the lobby (I mean a TON.. seemed like over 1/4 of the remaining players had less than 10bb??). Anyways, I prob would've been flipping & chose to take the safe route, really wanting to just get something for my last ticket (especially seeing as I only invested $5 to get it). Worked out okay as I managed to get 23rd for $500. Going out on a BvB shove with KT < 99. Have started playing an $18 satellite to the $100K on Saturday mornings & plan on continuing to do so for the rest of this year (along with playing the priv. games that have tickets awarded for prizes.. can't miss any more of these!!!).

Midway thru November 2011, time to TID!

Hitting midpoint of November. Have met most of my goals for 2011 as far as online poker goes & going to pick up the pace here for the last 45days. Final Goal to reach is $6K in profits from priv. tournaments. Updating soon.
